2020 Cancellation and Refund Policy

You have the right to cancel the ticket booking at any time up to the end of fourteen days from the day of the initial payment is made. This is your cooling off period. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must email [email protected]. Once you have notified us we will refund or credit you within 15 days of the paid value of the ticket.

If you wish to cancel your ticket after the expiry of the cooling off period referred to above, the following cancellation charges will apply:

Cancellations 60-90 days prior to the start date: 25% of ticket price
Cancellations 30-60 days prior to the start date: 40% of ticket price
Cancellations 30 or less days prior to the start date: 80% of ticket price.

A written request for cancellation must be submitted by email to [email protected]. FMC will reply with a written acknowledgement.

FMC Virtual: Attendee Registration, Cancellations & Refund Policy

Conference registration fees are refundable, minus a €25 processing fee, if your cancellation is received in writing no later than Oct 25th, 2020.

All tickets for the onsite Galway event are automatically transferable to the Live and Online Nov 14th and 15th event. FMC to issue ticket price reimbursement from Nov 1st 2020.

Cancellations of a ticket must be received in writing no later than 10 am GMT on, Oct 25th, 2020, to be eligible for a refund less the €25 processing fee. Conference registration is non-transferable. Failure to log in to the broadcast with no prior written cancellation will result in complete forfeiture of conference registration fees. Conference materials are available only to participants.

Just as is the case with our in-person conference, participation is limited to the paid registrant. Log-in information is unique and cannot be shared. Cancellation requests must be received via email: [email protected] FMC will reply with a written acknowledgement. FMC reserves the right to modify the conference schedule or program as necessary. FMC also reserves the right to cancel this conference, in which case a full refund of the registration and/or exhibit fees will be provided less processing fees.

Event Cancellation or Postponed by Functional Medicine Conference

FMC reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If FMC cancels or postpones an event, registrants will be entitled to a refund of the paid value unless you want to accept a Credit offered by FMC.

If you elect to accept a refund, we will automatically issue you a refund of the paid value subject to the exclusions as set forth herein to the credit card, debit card, or other method of payment and payment software fee (Stripe) used to make your original purchase.

Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. Refunds will be issued once the new date is confirmed.

FMC 2020 CoVid Policy

The FMC believe that the science of nutrition and functional medicine are too important to push back a year. The FMC 2020 event will go ahead, but may be transformed into a partial or fully virtual event .

Subject to COVID-19 state guidelines in Ireland, evolving travel restrictions and other Covid related circumstances, FMC may move the event to an online livestream or host partially online. Our FMC international speakers may not be able to attend onsite and their lecture all be offered onsite via a virtual platform.
